
Kotak Mahindra’s average total deposits jump 14.4% to ₹5.1L crore

Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced its provisional financial results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025, showcasing strong growth across multiple key financial metrics.
**Robust Growth in Deposits**
The bank’s average total deposits witnessed a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 14.4%, reaching ₹5,10,138 crore. This is a significant rise compared to ₹4,46,110 crore recorded during the same quarter last year. On a sequential basis, average total deposits grew by 3.7%, up from ₹4,91,998 crore in the June 2025 quarter.
**Increase in Net Advances**
Kotak Mahindra Bank’s average net advances for the September quarter stood at ₹4,47,809 crore, marking a considerable jump from ₹3,90,590 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. As of September 30, 2025, net advances reached ₹4,62,552 crore, reflecting a 15.8% increase over ₹3,99,522 crore reported on September 30, 2024.
**Growth in CASA Balances**
Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) balances also saw significant improvement. At the end of the quarter, CASA balances were reported at ₹2,23,791 crore, up 11.2% from ₹2,01,275 crore a year earlier. The average CASA deposits during the quarter rose 6.2% to ₹1,98,250 crore from ₹1,86,676 crore a year ago.
**Quarter-End Deposit Figures**
Total deposits at the quarter-end stood at ₹5,28,776 crore, representing a 14.6% increase compared to ₹4,61,454 crore on September 30, 2024. This figure also indicates a quarter-on-quarter growth of 3.1% from ₹5,12,838 crore recorded at the end of June 2025.
