Woodford County farm land preservation At the January 13th Woodford County Fiscal Court meeting, we saw the results of a countywide effort to safeguard our farmland and rural life. When 70 people show up for a public meeting, and 574 people sign a petition in five days, that shows a broadly held concern. That said, we asked our elected leaders to take notice, focus and act. And they did. The good news is Amendments II & VII passed as recommended by the Planning Commission with a few good.
