
Kotak Mahindra’s average total deposits jump 14.4% to ₹5.1L crore
**Kotak Mahindra Bank Reports 14.4% Growth in Average Total Deposits for Q2 FY2025-26**

Kotak Mahindra Bank has released its provisional financial results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025, showcasing strong growth across key metrics.
**Significant Increase in Deposits**
The bank’s average total deposits surged by 14.4% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹5,10,138 crore, up from ₹4,46,110 crore during the same period last year. On a sequential basis, deposits rose 3.7% from ₹4,91,998 crore reported in the June quarter of 2025.
**Growth in Advances**
Average net advances for the quarter stood at ₹4,47,809 crore, marking a significant increase from ₹3,90,590 crore recorded a year ago. At the period end on September 30, 2025, net advances totaled ₹4,62,552 crore, reflecting a robust 15.8% YoY growth compared to ₹3,99,522 crore as of September 30, 2024.
**Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) Balances**
CASA balances at the end of the quarter were ₹2,23,791 crore, up 11.2% from ₹2,01,275 crore during the same period last year. The average CASA deposits for the quarter rose 6.2% YoY, reaching ₹1,98,250 crore compared to ₹1,86,676 crore in Q2 2024-25.
**Total Deposits at Quarter End**
Total deposits stood at ₹5,28,776 crore as of September 30, 2025, up 14.6% from ₹4,61,454 crore a year earlier. This also represents a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth of 3.1% from ₹5,12,838 crore reported at the end of June 2025.
Overall, Kotak Mahindra Bank’s Q2 performance highlights continued strong growth in deposits and advances, positioning it well for the remainder of the financial year.
