Interesting – Damning email Surfaces Showing Mary McCord Sending FBI Information on Her Surveillance of Oathkeepers Group Following 2020 Election Result
Obviously, readers here are well aware of our research files on former DOJ National Security Division (DOJ-NSD) head Mary McCord and her various tentacles of operations against Donald Trump before and after the 2016 election. To enhance this ongoing effort, Twitter user “pepesgrandma” recently shared an email exchange from Mary McCord to the FBI in December 2020, following the election.
Apparently, Mary McCord was conducting surveillance of an Oathkeeper chat room and sending information to the FBI after the November 2020 election and in the run-up to the January 6, 2021 protest. This is interesting on several levels because we have already documented Mary McCord’s involvement in the Trump-Russia fabrication (the FISA warrant), the CIA-Ukraine impeachment fabrication (as key staff), the January 6th Committee fabrication (again, as staff), and the Jack Smith fabrication.
Now, we see Mary McCord actively setting up the “insurrection narrative” ahead of the January 6 protests. It appears Mrs. McCord forwarded the email to someone [REDACTED], likely within the January 6 Committee or the Jack Smith investigation, on September 24, 2021.

### The January 6 Committee and Deleted Records
There’s a reason why the January 6 Committee deleted records of their activity—an angle missed by most. Understanding what they hid and why explains why the current Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, will not address the subject.
The January 6 targets were identified through collaboration between the legislative research group and the FBI. Notably, this is unlawful, but that’s another matter. The FBI contracted Palantir to identify targets using facial recognition software and private sector databases. Once identified, the targets were searched in the NSA database for a full context of identity. All subsequent electronic metadata of the targets was retrieved and used in prosecution. Yet, no one ever discovered that this was the collaborative method.
The J6 Committee’s hiding and deleting of files and operational techniques was due to multiple issues. Given the unknowns of an incoming Republican majority, they had little choice.
First, the collaboration with the FBI is unconstitutional. Legislative officers are not law enforcement officers, raising separation of powers concerns.
Second, and more consequentially, none of the participants wanted the American public to know about the mass surveillance techniques used in the ’round up.’ This is where FBI Operation Arctic Frost comes into the conversation.
The House Subcommittee on Oversight released reports highlighting just how political the January 6 Committee was. The reports outline how Nancy Pelosi structured the committee for political purposes and showcase evidence of Liz Cheney’s assistance.

### The Role of Mary McCord in January 6 and Beyond
The “Select Committee staff” who met with Georgia DA Fani Willis was likely Mary McCord. If there is one corrupt DC player who has escaped scrutiny for her endeavors, it would be Mary McCord. More than any other Lawfare operative within Main Justice, Mary McCord stands at the center of every table manufacturing cases against Donald Trump.
Mary McCord’s husband is Sheldon Snook, who was the right hand to the legal counsel of Chief Justice John Roberts. This connection is significant as we will see later.

### The FISA Application and Surveillance of the Trump Campaign
When the Carter Page FISA application was originally assembled by the FBI and DOJ, there was hesitancy within the DOJ-NSD about submitting the application due to insufficient evidence citations (the infamous ‘Woods File’). The Steele Dossier ultimately became critical, providing the legal cover needed for the DOJ-NSD to submit the Title-1 surveillance warrant against the Trump campaign.
At the time the application was submitted (October 21, 2016), John Carlin had just left the head position in DOJ-NSD and was replaced by Mary McCord. Mary McCord handled filing the application and securing the surveillance warrant, approved by Sally Yates and James Comey.

### The Michael Flynn Case
A few months later, in February 2017, with Donald Trump as President, Mary McCord accompanied Deputy AG Sally Yates to the White House to confront White House legal counsel Don McGahn regarding Michael Flynn’s interview with FBI agents.
The surveillance of Flynn’s calls was presumably authorized under the FISA application McCord had submitted. At the time, McCord’s chief legal counsel inside the office was DOJ-NSD lawyer Michael Atkinson, responsible for auditing all FISA applications for compliance.

### The Ukraine Whistleblower and Impeachment
Michael Atkinson, as Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG), changed the rules in 2019 to allow anonymous CIA whistleblower complaints. He then delivered the anonymous whistleblower complaint against President Trump regarding the Ukraine call to the joint House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees (chaired by Schiff and Nadler).
Mary McCord, after leaving DOJ, worked as chief legal advisor to these committees. She received the whistleblower complaint from Atkinson and assisted in constructing the articles of impeachment against President Trump.
Atkinson was later forced to testify before the impeachment committee about the whistleblower rule changes; Adam Schiff sealed the deposition, and it remains undisclosed. Speaker Mike Johnson can unseal the testimony but has shown reluctance to do so.

### The Clinesmith Indictment and FISA Court Amicus Appointment
Inspector General Michael Horowitz uncovered an intentional lie within the Carter Page FISA application, traced back to FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who was criminally charged for fabricating evidence by altering an email.
John Durham prosecuted the case in front of Judge James Boasberg, who also serves as a FISA court judge and had signed off on one of the FISA renewals based on Clinesmith’s fraudulent evidence. Boasberg sentenced Clinesmith to six months probation.
Due to ongoing FISA application fraud, Boasberg appointed a FISA court amicus curiae to monitor DOJ-NSD submissions and FBI activities — Mary McCord.

### Summary of Mary McCord’s Involvement
– Submitted the original false FISA application using the Steele Dossier.
– Participated in framing Michael Flynn.
– Collaborated with ICIG Michael Atkinson to create the fraudulent Ukraine whistleblower complaint.
– Used that complaint to assemble articles of impeachment for the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees.
– Took a defensive role inside the FISA court to shield DOJ and FBI from scrutiny.
– Joined the January 6 Committee to create lawfare narratives.
– Coordinated with Georgia DA Fani Willis.
– Worked with Special Counsel Jack Smith in prosecuting Trump.
– Continues to coordinate outside lawfare attacks against Donald Trump’s potential second term.
– Testified that AG Pam Bondi should recuse herself from investigating McCord.
– Was pardoned by Joe Biden.

### Further Context: The Flynn Call and the Logan Act Narrative
Mary McCord’s involvement with Sally Yates in confronting White House counsel Don McGahn regarding Flynn’s call centers on the Logan Act narrative — a construct of pure lawfare.
At the time, Michael Flynn did nothing illegal in his conversations with Russian Ambassador Kislyak. The incoming National Security Advisor (Flynn) could communicate freely without wrongdoing.
However, the FBI Counterintelligence Division monitored and transcribed Flynn’s calls (“Flynn Cuts”). After the call’s contents leaked to the media, President Obama, via his ODNI James Clapper, learned of the surveillance.
Clapper obtained the transcripts from FBI Director Comey and presented them to Obama, destroying Obama’s plausible deniability regarding surveillance of the incoming NSA. This led to the January 5, 2017 meeting organized to address the fallout, highlighted by the Susan Rice memo and Obama’s repeated instruction to “buy the book.”
Given this, it’s highly probable that Mary McCord had seen the Flynn transcript before confronting McGahn and may have been behind leaking the Flynn-Kislyak call details to the media.

### Sheldon Snook and the Supreme Court Leak
Mary McCord’s husband, Sheldon Snook, was the right hand to the counsel for Chief Justice John Roberts. This office advises on all legal issues impacting the Supreme Court.
At the time, the court was focused heavily on the leaked Alito opinion known as the Dobbs decision, which returned abortion law to the states.
After the Supreme Court launched an internal investigation into the leak, Sheldon Snook left his position. The timing suggests circumstantial evidence that the leak may have originated from the counsel to Chief Justice Roberts’ office. Protecting the court’s institutional credibility likely prompted Snook’s quiet exit.

### In 2025: Mary McCord on Pam Bondi’s Recusal
During the Attorney General Pam Bondi’s nomination hearing, Adam Schiff questioned Mary McCord about whether Bondi should recuse herself from investigating Schiff and McCord. McCord responded affirmatively.
This is telling because McCord was the lead staff working for Schiff and Nadler on the first impeachment effort, which she structured and coordinated. Recall that McCord worked closely with ICIG Atkinson to change whistleblower rules allowing the anonymous complaint that triggered impeachment.
—
### A Brief Recap
– McCord submitted the fraudulent FISA application to spy on the Trump campaign.
– Helped create the “Logan Act” claim used against Michael Flynn and confronted the White House.
– Left DOJ to work for Schiff and Nadler on the impeachment committees.
– Organized CIA rule changes with ICIG Michael Atkinson.
– Led and coordinated the first impeachment effort.
– Joined the FISA court as amicus to protect DOJ and FBI from oversight.

### Final Thoughts
The recent revelation of Mary McCord sending FBI information about the Oathkeepers chat group sheds further light on her reach and duplicity.
Considering FBI Operation Arctic Frost and being personally targeted by the January 6 team involving McCord and the FBI, all the pieces align.
Mary McCord sits at the very center of it all — and no, this is not something that will be quietly let go.
