Hurts throws for 326 yards and 3 TDs as Eagles bounce back with 28-22 win over Vikings
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Jalen Hurts gave his lagging offense a jolt by throwing for 326 yards and three touchdowns, Jalyx Hunt returned an interception for a score, and the Philadelphia Eagles rebounded from back-to-back losses by hanging on to beat the Minnesota Vikings 28-22 on Sunday.
Hurts went 19 for 23 in the highlight-reel revival of the passing attack that helped the Eagles (5-2) win the Super Bowl last season. He connected with A.J. Brown for two touchdowns and DeVonta Smith for a career-high 183 receiving yards, which included a 79-yard score.
Facing third-and-9 from their 44 with 1:45 left and the Vikings (3-3) still holding two timeouts, Hurts dropped back and threw a 45-yard rainbow to Brown, who sealed the win after beating former teammate Isaiah Rodgers with a slick double move up the sideline. Rodgers, in his first season with the Vikings, also got beaten on Smith’s touchdown.
Carson Wentz went 26 for 42 for 313 yards on an erratic afternoon, getting picked off twice in his own territory and struggling to convert while the Vikings settled for Will Reichard’s field goals on five of six possessions inside the 20.

### Rams 35, Jaguars 7 — London
Matthew Stafford threw three of his five touchdown passes to Davante Adams as Los Angeles beat Jacksonville at Wembley Stadium.
Stafford, who has thrown 12 touchdowns with no interceptions in his past four games, also connected with rookie receiver Konata Mumpfield and rookie tight end Terrance Ferguson in the London rout.
The Rams (5-2) are off to their best start since their Super Bowl-winning season in 2021. Star receiver Puka Nacua missed the game due to an ankle injury.
The only highlight for the Jaguars (4-3) was rookie two-way star Travis Hunter getting his first NFL touchdown in the fourth quarter to make the score 28-7. Adams, who caught two touchdown passes in the first half, then added a third on a 1-yard jump ball that sent Jaguars fans to the exits.

### Chiefs 31, Raiders 0 — Kansas City, Mo.
Patrick Mahomes threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns in less than three quarters as Kansas City crushed Las Vegas.
Rashee Rice caught two of the touchdown passes in his return from a six-game suspension. Rice finished with seven catches for 42 yards. He tore his ACL in a collision with Mahomes in Week 4 last season but returned fully for the offseason and training camp. Rice was suspended before the start of the season for his role in a high-speed car crash in March 2024.
The Chiefs (4-3) scored on their first five possessions and finished with 434 total yards. Las Vegas struggled without star pass rusher Maxx Crosby, who left with a knee injury.
Defensively, Kansas City was dominant, holding the Raiders to just three first downs and 96 total yards while beating them for the 10th time in the last 11 meetings.
Geno Smith finished 10-of-16 for 67 yards, while rookie Ashton Jeanty had just 21 yards on six carries. This marked the fourth and most lopsided shutout by Kansas City in its 133-game history against the Raiders.

### Browns 31, Dolphins 6 — Cleveland
Quinshon Judkins scored three touchdowns as Cleveland snapped a three-game losing streak with a victory over Miami.
Judkins, the 36th overall pick in April’s draft, rushed for 84 yards on 25 carries. He became the first Browns running back to score three rushing touchdowns in a game since Nick Chubb in 2022.
Cornerback Tyson Campbell, acquired from Jacksonville on Oct. 9, returned an interception for a touchdown on the first play of the second half, lifting the Browns (2-5) past the 17-point mark for the first time in 12 games.
Rayshawn Jenkins added an interception and fumble recovery, giving Cleveland four takeaways in the game — the first time in nearly two seasons.
Dolphins’ Dillon Gabriel completed 13 of 18 passes for 116 yards in a game affected by heavy rain and wind during the first half. It was the rookie third-round pick’s first home start and first NFL win.

### Patriots 31, Titans 13 — Nashville, Tenn.
Drake Maye threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns as New England beat Tennessee in Mike Vrabel’s first game against the franchise that fired him in January 2024.
The Patriots (5-2) won their fourth straight game, staying atop the AFC East and spoiling Mike McCoy’s debut as Tennessee’s interim head coach.
Fans chanted “Vrabel, Vrabel” as the game clock ticked down.
Maye’s 135.9 passer rating made him only the third player under 24 with at least 200 yards passing and a passer rating over 100 in six straight NFL games. He joined Patrick Mahomes (seven consecutive in 2018) and Hall of Famer Dan Marino (six in 1984).
Linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson had two of New England’s five sacks and returned a fumble 4 yards for a touchdown. Harold Landry III recorded the final sack against the team that released him in March, and Marcus Jones secured an interception in the final minutes.

### Bears 26, Saints 14 — Chicago
Dennis Allen’s defense dominated his former team as Chicago defeated New Orleans for their fourth straight win.
This was Allen’s first game against the Saints since they fired him as head coach midway through last season.
The Bears forced four turnovers and sacked Spencer Rattler four times. Montez Sweat set the tone with an early strip-sack that led to a field goal.
Nahshon Wright’s long interception return set up Chicago’s first touchdown.
The Bears (4-2) overcame a spotty performance by quarterback Caleb Williams, who completed 15 of 26 passes for 172 yards and an interception, to match their best winning streak since 2018.
New Orleans (1-6) suffered through their worst start since starting 1-7 in 1999 under then-coach Mike Ditka.

### Panthers 13, Jets 6 — East Rutherford, N.J.
Bryce Young threw a touchdown pass before leaving with an ankle injury, while Jaycee Horn intercepted Tyrod Taylor twice after New York benched Justin Fields.
Carolina secured its third straight victory in what turned out to be a defensive battle.
The Panthers (4-3) achieved their first three-game winning streak with Young as their starting quarterback since he was drafted No. 1 overall in 2023. However, concerns loom about Young’s availability after he limped off late in the third quarter and was ruled out of the game.
Andy Dalton took over with 34 seconds left in the third quarter after Horn’s interception, but Carolina had to punt following a sack on Young on his last snap.

### Broncos 33, Giants 32 — Denver
Wil Lutz kicked a 39-yard game-winning field goal as time expired, giving Denver a thrilling 33-32 victory over New York.
The Broncos’ improbable comeback snapped the NFL’s 1,602 consecutive game streak where teams leading by 18 points with six minutes left went on to win.
Trailing 26-8 with just over five minutes remaining, Denver scored three touchdowns — including two scrambles by quarterback Bo Nix and a two-yard catch by R.J. Harvey — before Lutz’s game-winner.
Despite a late Giants touchdown that briefly gave them a 32-30 lead, missed extra points helped Denver capitalize.
The win marked Denver’s fourth straight and an NFL-best eighth consecutive win at home.

### Colts 38, Chargers 24 — Inglewood, Calif.
Daniel Jones threw for 288 yards and two touchdowns, while Jonathan Taylor scored three rushing touchdowns, leading Indianapolis to a 38-24 win over Los Angeles.
The Colts (6-1) snapped a five-game losing streak in Los Angeles and secured their NFL-best sixth win on the season.
They led 23-3 at halftime and held the Chargers to just 10 rushing yards on six carries.
Taylor had 16 carries for 94 yards, scoring on a 23-yard touchdown run early.
Jones completed 23 of 34 passes. The Chargers (4-3) never led and lost their third game in four despite Justin Herbert throwing for a career-high 423 yards and three touchdowns, with 37 completions setting a franchise record.
—
### Packers 27, Cardinals 23 — Glendale, Ariz.
Josh Jacobs ran for a go-ahead 1-yard touchdown with 1:50 remaining, and Micah Parsons recorded a career-high three sacks as Green Bay overcame an early 10-point deficit to beat Arizona.
The Packers (4-1-1) earned their first road win of the season despite travel delays that reportedly held up the team nearly five hours due to mechanical issues.
Arizona (2-5) had a chance to win on their final drive but saw Jacoby Brissett’s fourth-down pass batted away in the end zone with six seconds left.
Brissett, filling in for injured Kyler Murray, threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns.

### Cowboys 44, Commanders 22 — Arlington, Texas
Dak Prescott threw three touchdowns, including a 74-yard strike to CeeDee Lamb, and DaRon Bland returned an interception 68 yards for a score as Dallas defeated Washington.
Lamb topped 110 yards on five catches after returning from a high ankle sprain that sidelined him for three games. He rejoined the team just as George Pickens was shining as the new sidekick.
Pickens’ 44-yard catch helped key a quick touchdown drive for a 27-15 Dallas lead late in the first half.
Washington’s starting quarterback Jayden Daniels scored on a 1-yard run before halftime but left with a hamstring injury.
Javonte Williams ran for 116 yards and a touchdown for the Cowboys (3-3-1).
