Woodford County farm land preservation At the January 13th Woodford County Fiscal Court meeting, we saw the results of a countywide effort to safeguard our farmland and rural life. When 70 people show up for a public meeting, and 574 people sign a petition in five days, that shows a broadly held concern. That said, we asked our elected leaders to take notice, focus and act. And they did. The good news is Amendments II & VII passed as recommended by the Planning Commission with a few good.

In a memorandum to the Navi Mumbai Municipal Commissioner, the group expressed gratitude for the project but highlighted delays. “The beautification of the chowk has been completed and replicas of Mavlas have been erected, but even after six months the main statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has not been installed,” the memorandum stated.
