How to upgrade Grasp – Hades 2
Grasp dictates how many Arcana Cards you can equip in *Hades 2*. When you first start the game, you will have 10 Grasp, which is relatively low considering how quickly you can acquire new cards. To increase your Grasp, you need to upgrade it using the in-game currency, Psyche. However, the process of upgrading Grasp isn’t immediately obvious.
### How to Upgrade Grasp
Grasp is upgraded on the Arcana Card screen before embarking on another run through Erebus. When you enter the preparation area, select **Meditate** at the gate. This will open the Arcana Card selection screen.
On this screen, navigate to the top-right corner where your current Grasp value is displayed. Here, you can spend Psyche to increase your Grasp, allowing you to equip more cards or cards with higher costs.
With an upgraded Grasp stat, you gain greater flexibility in how you build your loadout. You can either equip a larger number of lower-cost cards or fewer but more powerful (and expensive) cards. Ultimately, how you allocate your points depends on your playstyle and strategy.
### How to Earn Psyche for Upgrades
Upgrading Grasp requires a substantial amount of Psyche. You can earn Psyche in several ways, including through the Wretched Broker and by using the Tablet of Peace gathering tool.
Keep in mind that the first few levels of Grasp upgrades cost about 45 Psyche each, but maxing out Grasp can require thousands of Psyche. Planning your Psyche usage wisely will help you maximize the benefits from your Arcana Cards and improve your runs in *Hades 2*.
