In KEFI’s case, we’re actually going to have three mines producing and contributing to shareholder wealth, providing some diversification as well. Instead of being a one-legged stool, so to speak, KEFI will be like a three-legged stool. This fundamental change, putting aside the prospectivity and the excitement of what’s going to be happening in Saudi Arabia, significantly alters the nature of the risk for owners of KEFI shares.

Happy New Year, Stephen. The company today is a very different company from what it was a month ago. Because of this transformation, we felt it was important to explain everything in great detail—partly in response to the many questions we’ve received on our info line and partly out of courtesy and due process.
The main point is that we now have the funds necessary to develop the Tulu Kapi project with minimal reliance on shareholders during this process. Additionally, the principal contractor and our teams in-country have been activated.
Importantly, the community, government, and other local stakeholders are fully aligned and motivated to fulfill their responsibilities. Everyone is pushing hard to ensure the project’s success.
