The Furnace in Hytale is one of the most important functional blocks that allows players to smelt ores into bars. It plays a key role in upgrading weapons and armor, as well as improving various items in the game. Given its importance, it’s no surprise that players want to know how to craft and use this essential refining station.

How to Make a Furnace in Hytale

The Furnace is one of the foundational blocks in Hytale. It enables players to refine raw ores into Ingots, which are essential for a variety of crafting and upgrading purposes. Similar to other workbenches, the Furnace can be crafted using a Level 1 Workbench.

Materials needed to craft a Furnace:

• 6 Tree Trunks
• 6 Stone

You can obtain tree trunks by chopping down trees with an axe. Stone is mined from rocks using a pickaxe. Once you have gathered both materials in the required quantities, head to your Workbench and craft the Furnace from the Workbench tab.

How to Use the Furnace in Hytale

The Furnace allows you to refine raw ores into Ingots, which are used in various crafting and upgrading activities.

1. Interact with the Furnace to open its interface panel.
2. Place a fuel source in the Fuel slot. Common fuel items include wood, tree trunks, or charcoal.
3. Place the ore you want to refine in the Input slot.

A Level 1 Furnace can refine up to two ore stacks, while a Level 2 Furnace can process up to three stacks. However, the Furnace will only refine one stack at a time. Once the first stack is done, it will automatically start refining the next.

The Furnace continues refining until it runs out of either fuel or raw materials. When refining is complete, you can collect the crafted Ingots from the Output slot. Additionally, refining produces some charcoal as a byproduct, which you can use as fuel or for other purposes.
