‘Psychopath’ Erika Kirk Allegedly Part of the Plan in Hijacking Charlie Kirk’s Organisation TPUSA
It has been over three months since Charlie Kirk’s assassination, but his widow, Erika Kirk, continues to attract criticism fueled by wild conspiracy theories. Erika, who stepped into her late husband’s role as CEO of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), is far from being seen as a typical “grieving widow” by many observers.
### The Hijacking Narrative
One TikToker, known as @mmachick_, alleged that Erika’s swift ascension to the helm of TPUSA was part of a premeditated plot to hijack Charlie’s organization. The social media personality questioned Erika’s behavior following her husband’s murder, pointing out that she is often away from her children and describing her actions as “suspicious.”
In September, @mmachick_ weighed in on Erika’s public appearances, including her attendance at a TPUSA event at Utah Valley University. Erika was most recently seen at TPUSA AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona, on December 21. The TikToker stated:
> “The glitz, the glam, the multiple outfit changes, the multiple speeches given on stage with the fireworks and everything. It’s time to flat-out say that this is absolutely not a grieving widow.”
@mmachick_ went on to call Erika a “psychopath,” adding that she was “99.9% sure” there was a plan to hijack Charlie’s organization and that Erika was a key part of it, given her suspicious actions. She pointed out that Erika’s multiple speeches, which could have taken hours, appeared to be clearly planned. Additionally, Erika has participated in numerous TV interviews and embarked on a book tour—an unusual itinerary for a woman who just lost her husband and is raising two young children.
The TikToker claimed Erika seems to be “a mother who’s literally having the time of her life.”
Further stirring speculation, @mmachick_ questioned why Ben Shapiro was present at AmericaFest when he was not on the list of speakers released by Charlie months earlier. She found it unbelievable that Erika would allow Shapiro—who has repeatedly criticized Tucker Carlson, one of Charlie’s close friends—to attend the event.
Urging the public to “grow some common sense,” @mmachick_ concluded:
> “They’ve been completely hijacked and they kill off their CEO.”
### Erika’s Promotion After Charlie’s Death
Comedian and writer Sammy Obeid also weighed in on the situation, tweeting:
> “Is it me or does Erika Kirk grieve weird?”
Like the TikToker, Obeid examined the relationship between Charlie and Erika and hinted at a possible plot that led to her takeover of TPUSA. He noted that Charlie initially met Erika during an interview for his organization, and, four years later, after his death, she assumed control. Obeid sarcastically remarked that Erika “entered Charlie’s life for a job” and “ended getting a promotion.”
### A ‘Grieving Widow’ Under the Microscope
Public perception of Erika’s mourning process has become a heated topic within the conservative community. Many social media users have branded her a “fake” and a “horrible actress” based on what they perceive as a lack of genuine emotion. Comments highlighted her “dry eye pats” during moments that would typically be heart-wrenching, suggesting she was performing for cameras rather than truly grieving.
The backlash has been harsh, with many questioning how a wife could appear so composed—and occasionally even light-hearted—mere months after a public assassination.
Some speculate that Erika’s demeanor may be the result of “coaching,” due to her unconventional approach to grief. One commenter on X (formerly Twitter) expressed:
> “I think she’s young, she’s being coached & doesn’t realize some of the optics don’t look like a grieving widow.”
### Erika Kirk’s Defiant Rebuff at AmericaFest 2025
Despite the digital firestorm and ongoing allegations, Erika Kirk has refused to retreat from the public spotlight.
During a high-profile interview at AmericaFest with rapper Nicki Minaj, Erika subtly responded to her critics. When she asked Minaj how she copes with backlash, the “Bang Bang” artist replied, “I did not notice.” Erika smiled in agreement, saying:
> “Amen, I feel the same way.”
Charlie’s widow emphasized that she and her team are “busy building” and that she does not concern herself with detractors.

As Erika Kirk continues to lead Turning Point USA and maintain a public presence, opinions about her and her motives remain deeply divided. Regardless of the controversy, she appears determined to move forward with her mission.
