There was a time when I took pride in telling people that I didn’t drink alcohol or use drugs. Yet, in truth, I was seeking the ultimate chemical experience in my own selfish ways. Jim Robinson, the founder of Free Republic, often warned about distractions—whether from “movements” or “politics.” He even pointed out that getting caught up in politics, including those in faraway places like South Korea, could distract Christians from their true focus.

We all still miss Rush Hudson Limbaugh III. It’s fascinating to imagine what he might have done with all the Jeffrey Epstein news that’s been unfolding around us.

That brings me to a Jeffrey Epstein update—a timely topic these days. This week, we’ve learned a lot from the release of emails belonging to the Jeffrey Epstein estate. It’s worth remembering that while President Obama didn’t bomb Syria, President Donald J. Trump did—twice. The first time, in 2017, political adviser Steve Bannon was in the room.

In fact, according to reports, Steve Bannon exchanged hundreds of emails and even met in March 2018 with Jeffrey Epstein, who was a convicted sex offender and trafficker.

Looking abroad, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has made it clear: his goal for the coming year is to surround Iran as part of his strategy.

Then there’s Alan Dershowitz, who helped Epstein get his notorious “sweetheart deal.” He knows full well that there were almost three dozen girls, ages 13 to 17, caught up in that network.

Meanwhile, Democrats continue to push the narrative that Donald Trump is a pedophile—but we must look at the full picture.

Remember, five years ago, two trillion dollars were spent on COVID relief—with only one Congressman, Rep. Thomas Massie (find him on X), standing in opposition.

On the economic front, I became a conservative because I opposed higher taxes. Still, prices have risen this year, thanks to what many are calling “back-door” taxes. One Congresswoman who’s spoken up about these rising prices is Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (also on X).

Looking ahead to the markets opening on Monday, I hold out hope that President Trump will shift gears and work to talk the stock market higher. As it turned out, late Sunday evening, that very thing happened.
