Land Rover has officially launched the MY26 Discovery SUV in India, with prices starting at ₹1.26 crore (ex-showroom). Alongside the launch, the British automaker has introduced two new trims for the Indian market: the Gemini and Tempest editions. These special editions boast unique exterior and interior design elements, setting them apart from the standard models.

**Powertrain and Performance**
All variants of the new Discovery are powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder, turbocharged mild-hybrid diesel engine. This robust powertrain ensures strong performance, combining power with efficiency.

*Tempest Edition*
The Discovery Tempest edition sports distinctive design updates both inside and out. Its standout feature is the exclusive Petra Copper shade applied to elements such as the up to 22-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, roof, and the ‘Discovery’ lettering on the hood. The grille receives a fresh update as well, featuring hexagonal elements finished in a Graphite Atlas gloss hue.

Further unique touches include a special ‘Tempest’ symbol projected on the puddle lamps and silver-finished door sill plates. Buyers can choose from three exterior colors for the Tempest edition: Carpathian Gray, Varesine Blue, and Charente Gray.

Inside, the Tempest offers three interior color schemes:

*Gemini Edition*
Positioned as the most affordable Discovery model in India for 2026, the Gemini edition features a sleek gloss black roof and 21-inch silver alloy wheels. Exclusive silver skid plates with two hexagonal motifs distinguish this trim. The grille is finished in a silver hue, and all exterior color options are available except for the Charente Gray, which is reserved for the Tempest edition.

Inside the cabin, buyers can choose between leatherette or fabric upholstery. The available interior color themes for Gemini include:
