**Over 44,000 Farmers Register Under Bhavantar Yojana in Indore Division**
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Registration under the Bhavantar Yojana for the Kharif 2025 soybean crop is progressing rapidly across the Indore division. According to official data released on Wednesday, more than 44,000 farmers have registered their crops so far on the e-Uparjan portal.
Administrative staff at the district level have been assigned the responsibility to ensure smooth implementation of the scheme. In Indore district, Collector Shivam Verma has instructed the district committee and block-level committees, led by Sub-Divisional Revenue Officers, to make sure that no farmer faces any inconvenience during the registration process.
To facilitate this, 38 registration centres have been set up across Indore district, equipped with adequate seating, shade, and drinking water facilities. Thanks to these arrangements, the registration process has been proceeding smoothly. Currently, 28,344 farmers have registered in Indore district alone. Additionally, a nodal officer has been appointed to continuously monitor the registration centres.
In Barwani district, 47 registration centres have been established, where 3,853 farmers have registered so far. Other districts in the division have also seen active participation, with registrations reported as follows:
– Khargone: 5,155 farmers
– Khandwa: 3,659 farmers
– Jhabua: 1,508 farmers
– Burhanpur: 699 farmers
– Dhar: 650 farmers
