Tatum Paxley on John Cena’s PC Visits: ‘He is So Wanting to Help’
With John Cena’s final match weekend approaching, NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley shared her personal experiences with the WWE legend.
On the Eat Sleep Podcast Repeat, Paxley revealed that Cena is a frequent and dedicated visitor at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
“He actually comes down to the Performance Center pretty often,” Paxley said. “And something about John Cena, like, in his heart, he is so wanting to help young wrestlers.”
Paxley Recalls Her Conversation with Cena
Paxley recounted a specific time she got to speak with him directly.
“I’ve actually gotten to sit and talk with him,” she said. “I remember I just walked up to him and thanked him, and he was like, ‘What did I do?’ ‘You’re so impactful,’ and he offered me to sit down next to him. He’s like, ‘Are there any questions you have?’, and I’m just staring at him, like, Oh my gosh.”
“Like, there are so many things I want to ask John Cena. The knowledge in his brain and the way he speaks, he’s incredible.”
Her Picks for Cena’s Final Opponent
Paxley expressed her excitement for Cena’s final match and shared her thoughts on who his opponent should be.
“I’m really excited to see who his final opponent is going to be. I have no idea who it can be. But whoever it is is very lucky to get to share the ring with him for the last time.”
When asked for her top picks from the “Last Time is Now” tournament, Paxley named three stars.
“You know, I was gonna say Gunther. I think that would be really cool,” she offered. “But I think somebody like LA Knight, that would be a really great opportunity for him. Dominik Mysterio would be a really fun watch. Those would probably be my top three picks to be his last match.”
