Sri Lanka’s Nilakshi de Silva delivered a crucial unbeaten knock of 55 runs against New Zealand in Match 15 of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The match, held in Colombo, saw the Lankans post a competitive total of 258/6 in their allotted 50 overs.
Nilakshi played a vital role in pushing Sri Lanka’s score past the 250-run mark with an aggressive and composed innings. She reached her fifty off just 26 balls, showcasing her ability to accelerate the innings at a critical juncture.
