
Where to search the monastery cellar during the Anamnesis quest – Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
During the **Anamnesis** quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you will learn from Brother Celestine that his good friend, Brother Jaroslav, has been sneaking off down to the monastery’s basement. This behavior is suspicious, as Jaroslav seems intent on keeping his activities a secret. Brother Celestine isn’t sure exactly where Jaroslav has been going, so it’s up to you to find out.
### Where to Search the Monastery Cellar
The monastery cellar spans nearly the entire length of the large building and has multiple entrances. It doesn’t matter which entrance you choose; your goal is to reach a specific point within the cellar, indicated on the quest map.
Depending on your entry point, you might need to pick a couple of locks to proceed. However, the easiest way to access the cellar is through the kitchen. From the kitchen stairs, head down and then go through the door opposite the room where monks are secretly gambling.
Once inside the cellar, it’s mostly a straightforward path. You will come across an area with spilled wine—make sure to examine this spot carefully. Beyond some wooden beams, you will notice a trail of footsteps. Follow these footsteps to discover a strange locked door. Finding this door signifies the completion of this part of the quest.
