Bollywood actress Shehnaaz Gill recently addressed a popular question regarding her connection to India ODI and Test skipper Shubman Gill, as both celebrities hail from Punjab. The 31-year-old star appeared on Ranveer Allahbadia’s YouTube podcast, released on Monday, November 11, where she was asked if Shubman Gill is a distant relative of hers.
Shehnaaz responded playfully, saying Shubman must be her brother since they come from the same region. She added that whenever Shubman trends on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), her own trend often appears alongside his. Shehnaaz commented:
> “He must be my brother. He’s probably from that side, maybe from our side, from the Amritsar side. So when he trends, my trend is running in the middle on Twitter. When he trends, my trend is also running in between. It’s true, there must be some connection of brother and sister. I asked myself, and this is the answer I got myself, that we belong to the same side. So yes, there must be some connection. That’s good. He’s playing well. Yes, and he’s very lovely. (Bhot pyara hai).”
