**UAE Presses Netanyahu to Back Trump Gaza Plan, Warns Against West Bank Annexation**
The United Arab Emirates has urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to support U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan. The UAE warned that any move towards annexation of parts of the West Bank would close the door to further normalization of relations between Israel and leading Arab and Muslim nations.
In a recent meeting at the White House in Washington, D.C., on September 29, 2025, President Trump welcomed Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss the proposed initiatives aimed at resolving ongoing conflicts in the region.
The UAE’s stance highlights the growing importance of diplomatic efforts in the Middle East and the delicate balance required to maintain progress towards peace and cooperation.
