
Thousands to participate in San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer’s
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) – Thousands of people are expected to take part in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday in San Francisco.
ABC7 is a proud media sponsor of the annual walk. ABC7 News anchor Amanda del Castillo and reporter Zach Fuentes will be emceeing the event.
The opening ceremony starts at 10 a.m. at Bayfront Park in Mission Bay.
The walk is free to participate in, but donations are encouraged. Funds raised help the Alzheimer’s Association provide 24/7 care and support for families affected by the disease. Donations also support research focused on prevention, treatments, and ultimately, finding a cure.
