The Economic Power of the Immigrant Superstar
It’s not usual to have a World Series full of baseball superstars, but I think most fans would agree that this year’s competition features one who truly outshines the rest: Shohei Ohtani.
Any doubters were silenced during the LA Dodgers’ final National League Championship Series game last weekend. Ohtani put on what was likely the greatest single-game performance in the history of Major League Baseball.
He pitched six shutout innings and hit three mammoth home runs, showcasing his extraordinary talent both on the mound and at the plate.
