Rodrigue sets career-highs as Nicholls beats Houston Christian 31-7
THIBODAUX, La. (AP) — Ean Rodrigue delivered an impressive performance as Nicholls defeated Houston Christian 31-7 on Saturday.
The redshirt sophomore quarterback completed 17 of 22 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns. In addition to his passing success, Rodrigue rushed for 89 yards and scored another touchdown on the ground.
His efforts set new career highs in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and rushing yards, helping the Colonels improve to a 3-6 overall record and 3-2 in Southland Conference play.
