Today, I will give a brief overview of our business, followed by a presentation on results and guidance from Junichi Arai, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Starting this fiscal year, Recruit Holdings has integrated HR Solutions from Matching & Solutions into HR Technology. As a result, the year-on-year comparison of segment results in this fiscal year’s financial presentation is based on FY 2024 pro forma figures, which assume this integration had been effective as of April 1, 2024. Unless otherwise stated, all comparisons will be made year-over-year. Additionally, all references to dollars in this presentation refer to U.S. dollars.
Our company operates through three key business segments. The HR Technology segment features Indeed and Glassdoor, which together form a global, two-sided talent marketplace across more than 60 countries, with a primary focus on the U.S. As the core of our simplifying strategy, Indeed utilizes its extensive reach, AI-powered matching, and a suite of tools for faster connections to make the hiring process more efficient for employers and to help job seekers find opportunities more effectively.
