PVL: Choco Mucho, led by Madayag and Ponce, shows depth in gritty win

MANILA, Philippines — Maddie Madayag and Thang Ponce stepped up to hold the fort for the all-Filipino Choco Mucho team, which continues to miss the services of American import Marlee Smith in the PVL Reinforced Conference.

Madayag proved to be a formidable two-way force, posting 18 points, including clutch hits and the game-winning ace. She also contributed significantly on defense with six blocks.

Thanks to their efforts, the Flying Titans secured a hard-fought victory.
