Program designed to help historically discriminated businesses removed from state website amid legal battle
The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts recently removed information about the Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program from its website.
The HUB program is designed to provide exposure to minority and female-owned businesses within the state procurement process.
An agency spokesperson explained that the removal is part of a “legal review of the program’s administration and rules.”
Further updates are expected as the review progresses.
