According to ESPNcricinfo, the 155-run opening partnership between Mandhana and Rawal shattered the previous record against Australia in WODIs. The earlier best was 119 runs, set by England’s Caroline Atkins and Sarah Taylor in 2009.
Notably, no other pair has crossed even a 110-run partnership against Australia in a Women’s World Cup game, highlighting the exceptional nature of this stand.
