‘Papa Katsu’ Cop Indicted for Indecent Acts With Underage Girls
It has now been revealed that the officer is also accused of similar offenses involving two other teenage girls.
The 53-year-old inspector, who serves with the Special Investigation Unit for Public Safety, was first arrested in June for touching the body of a girl under the age of 13 in a private karaoke room in Osaka. He was indicted while out on bail.
Subsequent investigations uncovered that he allegedly committed indecent acts with another teenage girl who was present in the same room. Additionally, he was involved in a separate incident in July with another girl under 13.
As a result, he has been re-indicted and is currently awaiting trial.
The officer reportedly met the girls through papa katsu arrangements and has admitted to the allegations during questioning.
In response to these developments, the police department has stated that it intends to dismiss him through disciplinary action.
