PAC-MAN joins Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Gaming is set to make a big impact this year in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Bandai Namco has announced that Pac-Man will be featured as a new balloon in the famous parade, marking its debut appearance on November 27, the day of the event.
The details of the Pac-Man balloon were revealed by Bandai Namco in a social media post earlier this week. This exciting addition highlights the growing presence of video game characters in the parade lineup.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has previously showcased a few iconic video game characters, including Sonic the Hedgehog and Pikachu from Pokémon. However, this year promises an even bigger celebration of gaming, with several new balloons inspired by beloved video game franchises.
In fact, it was announced earlier this month that Nintendo will be debuting a Mario balloon as part of the event, commemorating the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. With both Pac-Man and Mario joining the festivities, fans can look forward to a vibrant and nostalgic parade experience highlighting some of the most iconic figures in gaming history.
