**Navratri Celebrations Kick Off in Mumbai with Exciting Garba Events Across the City**
Navratri, one of the most auspicious Hindu festivals, begins today, and Mumbaikars are ready to dive into the festive spirit by grooving to garba beats. Various garba events have been organised across the Mumbai metropolitan region and will continue till the last day of the nine-day festival on October 1.
Notably, many garba celebrations are moving to indoor, air-conditioned venues to provide relief from the heat and comply with late-night loudspeaker usage regulations. ### Radiance Dandiya
**Location:** Jio World Convention Centre, BKC
**Price:** Rs 1,799 per day
In Mumbai, garba events are synonymous with singer Falguni Pathak, popularly known as the Dandiya Queen. After years of performing at Borivali’s Korakendra Ground, she has shifted to a new indoor venue this year for an event that promises to continue “all night long.”
The organisers also offer exclusive pods for those who want to play in a private space, starting at Rs 1 lakh. These pods include LED dandiyas, food vouchers, and valet parking.

### Rangilo Re Navratri
**Location:** NESCO Centre, Goregaon
**Price:** Rs 999
Rangilo Re is Mumbai’s pioneer of indoor dome garba, returning for its seventh edition this year. At the heart of Rangilo Re is Parthiv Gohil, whose soul-stirring live performances have become the emotional core of the festival, uniting thousands of dancers every night.
This year, the event has expanded to occupy three exhibition halls at the NESCO Centre, making it larger than ever. Parthiv Gohil describes Rangilo Re as “an emotion painted with colours and connected by people’s love. It’s a celebration — a cultural experience and a home for those who truly breathe Navratri.”

### Rangtaali Navratri
**Location:** Arunkumar Vaidya Ground, Borivali
**Price:** Rs 950 per day
Back for the third consecutive year, Taramati Foundation and Yash Entertainment are organising a grand celebration featuring garba princess Aishwarya Majmudar, a renowned Gujarati folk singer. Majmudar is expected to attract thousands of garba lovers with her melodious voice and energetic stage presence.
This year’s Navratri has gone indoors with an air-conditioned dome, claimed to be the biggest in Mumbai, specially set up for the occasion. A free rehearsal session was also organised on the Sunday before the nine-day festival began.

### Dome Dandiya Nites
**Location:** Dome, SVP Stadium, Worli
**Price:** Rs 799 onwards
South Mumbai’s biggest garba celebration will take place at the Dome in Worli’s SVP Stadium, transformed into a grand garba arena. Participants can dance to performances by Riya Bhattacharya, Amit Jadav, Neelam Kumar, and Tushar Dixit until late at night inside a fully air-conditioned dome. The event runs from September 26 to October 2.

### Rang Raas Navratri
**Location:** Balasaheb Thackeray Manoranjan Udyan, Borivali (W)
**Price:** Rs 499 per day
Bollywood singer Bhoomi Trivedi, often called the Queen of Garba, will perform at Hitech Events’ Rang Raas Navratri for 10 days. Trivedi has been a staple performer during Navratri in Mumbai for years.
The organisers say, “Navratri brings endless happiness, excitement, and divine power. The pure bliss of worshipping Goddess Amba and offering prayers through raas-dandiya is beyond words.”

### Showglitz Navratri Utsav
**Location:** Kora Kendra Ground No. 4, Borivali
**Price:** Rs 499 per day
Though Falguni Pathak has moved her event out of Borivali, the suburb remains a hub for garba celebrations. The famous Kora Kendra ground will host Kutchi Koyal Geeta Rabari, a renowned folk artist.
This venue, which is said to be the largest garba playing area in the city, will feature special wooden flooring designed to make dancing more comfortable. “The entire venue will be lit up with spectacular lights, and the state-of-the-art sound system will let you feel every beat,” explained the organisers.
