During the Dallas Mavericks’ Media Day on Monday, star guard Kyrie Irving was asked about the possibility of retirement in the future. Irving responded honestly, revealing that thoughts about retirement cross his mind more often than many might expect. Despite this, he emphasized that he is still a few years away from seriously considering stepping away from the game.
Currently, Irving is recovering from ACL surgery and does not have an official return date. However, numerous reports have suggested that he might return to the court in early 2026.
