Marquette secures 100-82 victory against Southern
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Chase Ross scored 23 points to lead Marquette to a 100-82 victory over Southern on Wednesday. Ross also contributed six rebounds and six assists, helping the Golden Eagles improve to 2-0 on the season.
Sean Jones added 12 points, shooting an efficient 4-for-7 from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. He also handed out five assists, playing a key role in Marquette’s offensive execution.
Caedin Hamilton finished with 5 points, continuing to provide valuable support for the team. Marquette’s balanced scoring and strong overall performance were instrumental in securing the convincing win.
