**Manchester Synagogue Attacker’s Father Praised Hamas’s October 7 Attack, Worked for ICRC**
Faraj al-Shamie, the father of the Manchester synagogue attacker, allegedly praised Hamas’s invasion into southern Israel on October 7, 2023. He wrote that the attack proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Israel would eventually be destroyed.
In related events, students at The University of Manchester have occupied parts of the campus in protest, expressing support for Palestinians in Gaza. The demonstrations took place on May 7, 2024.
