Majogami reveals Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch physical release – full game on cartridge, pre-orders open
Inti Creates has announced a new physical release for **Majogami** on both the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Nintendo Switch. This announcement is especially significant for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, as it is one of the few third-party games to have the entire game data stored directly on the cartridge—no need for a game-key card.
Both physical versions are planned for release in Japan and Asia. However, like all Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch games, they are region-free and will work on all systems worldwide. The game supports multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
In addition to the standard release, Inti Creates is offering a **limited edition** set. This special edition includes the game, a special box, an art book, and a soundtrack CD, making it a great collector’s item for fans.
### About Majogami
*Majogami* stars Shiroha, a young woman who has lost her memory. She travels alongside Shiori, her father who has been mysteriously transformed into paper. Armed with her katana, “Kamikiri,” Shiroha journeys through a bizarre world, cutting through horrors in this thrilling 2D character action platformer.
Players take control of Shiroha, who can move and attack instantly using her “Setsuna” ability, allowing her to take down enemies seamlessly. Along the way, she collects cards called Recarte, which are imbued with her lost memories. She must also confront the diverse Majogami—divine “Craft Witches” who wield powerful magic and control the world.
These Majogami, twisted in heart and formidable in power, stand in Shiroha’s path as she fights to escape their domain. Beyond her Setsuna ability, Shiroha can rely on Shiori’s defensive sigils and the powers of guardians known as Astrals. These guardians help her transform into new fighting forms, enhancing her combat abilities.
By defeating the Majogami, Shiroha gradually regains her memories, uncovering more about her and Shiori’s lives. This journey deepens their bond and reveals a touching family story. Players will experience Shiroha’s unwavering determination to survive and overcome the challenges of this twisted world.
