**‘Lokah Chapter 2’ Announced; Tovino-Dulquer Charm in First Promo**

The much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster Malayalam film *Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra* has been officially announced. Wayfarer Films made the announcement on Saturday, releasing a special video featuring popular actors Tovino Thomas and Dulquer Salmaan.
In the upcoming installment, Tovino Thomas will reprise his role as Michael, a mischievous goblin (chathan) known for his playful antics and charm.
**First Look and Teaser Details**
The first teaser video runs for 2 minutes and 55 seconds, opening with a humorous conversation between Michael (Thomas) and Charlie (Salmaan) at a safehouse. The duo banters about their drinking habits, with Michael revealing that his kind—the chathans—are notorious for their love of alcohol.
The teaser also hints at a darker twist with the introduction of Michael’s brother, who has recently been “released.” Unlike Michael, his brother is portrayed as violent, adding new layers of intrigue to the story.
**Sequel to the Highest-Grossing Malayalam Film**
*Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra* was a massive hit and holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing Malayalam film to date. The first film starred Kalyani Priyadarshan as Neeli/Chandra, alongside Naslen and Sandy in the roles of Sunny and Nachiyappa, respectively.
The sequel promises to continue the story right from where the original left off, though an official release date for *Lokah Chapter 2* is yet to be announced.
**Expanding the Lokah Universe**
In the original film, Tovino Thomas’s Michael was portrayed as a trickster god, a goblin with a penchant for mischief. The upcoming chapter will see him taking on multiple roles, expanding his character’s depth.
The first film also featured cameo appearances from notable actors such as Dulquer Salmaan, Anna Ben, Ahaana Krishna, Soubin Shahir, Vijay Menon, Sunny Wayne, and Balu Varghese. Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under his banner Wayfarer Films, the franchise continues to build momentum and excitement among fans.
