Jayden Daniels questionable with hamstring injury
Jayden Daniels went into the training room early in the third quarter after suffering a hamstring injury. The injury occurred when Cowboys rookie linebacker Shemar James sacked him, twisting Daniels’ lower body like a corkscrew as he brought him down. Daniels remained on the ground in obvious pain following the play.
He was then examined in the medical tent before leaving for the training room. The Commanders have listed him as questionable to return with the hamstring injury.
On the same play, Daniels also fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Jadeveon Clowney for the Cowboys at the Dallas 45-yard line with 11:47 remaining in the third quarter.
Marcus Mariota replaced Daniels, who had just returned from a knee sprain last Monday night after missing two games.
