Indore News: Failed Relationship Pushes Youth To End Life After Video Calling GF
**Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Two Suicides Reported Amid Personal and Professional Distress**
In a tragic incident late Saturday night, a 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in a hotel located in the Hiranagar police station area. The deceased, identified as Aryan Chauhan, was found in his room at Madhure Shri Hotel. According to the police, Aryan had an alleged dispute with his girlfriend prior to the incident.
Shortly before taking his life, Aryan had video-called his girlfriend, informing her of his intention to commit suicide. His girlfriend disconnected the call and alerted one of Aryan’s friends, who rushed to the hotel. However, by the time the hotel staff unlocked the room, Aryan was found hanging around 2:30 am.
Aryan Chauhan was a resident of Sahu Nagar and had not returned home for two days before the incident. He had told family members that he was staying at a friend’s place during this time. Investigations revealed that Aryan had been in a long-term relationship with a girl he wished to marry. However, the girl had been refusing his proposal for nearly a year. Reports suggest that Aryan suspected her of communicating with other men, which frequently led to arguments between them.
Police recovered WhatsApp messages sent by Aryan to himself before his death. In these messages, he apologized to his family and alleged that his girlfriend had cheated on and emotionally exploited him. Aryan expressed that he could no longer tolerate the situation and sought his family’s forgiveness through the messages.
Aryan was the only son of his parents and had a younger sister. His father works with a telecom company.
