Yesterday, Bollywood Hungama was the first to predict that Rizwan Sajan, the founder and chairman of Danube Group, would launch a tower named after Shah Rukh Khan at an event held in Mumbai on November 14. Our news break turned out to be true.

SRK himself graced the occasion for the launch of the skyscraper, called **Shahrukhz By Danube**, and as expected, raised laughs and touched hearts with his memorable quotes.

Rizwan Sajan spoke highly of Shah Rukh Khan, sharing how he had a long chat with his wife on Zoom when he told her that she was ill. But the event truly reached another level when King Khan made his grand entrance.

### Historic Moment: Dubai Tower Named After Shah Rukh Khan

The Dubai tower named **Shahrukhz By Danube** was officially launched, and the project will even feature a statue of the King Khan himself at the entrance.

During the event, Shah Rukh Khan emotionally said,
> “Meri maa zinda hoti toh bahut khush hoti!”
and added with his signature charm,
> “Eid ke chand ki tarah main bahar kam aata hoon. Lekin jab aata hoon, tab kamaal aata hoon!”

SRK warmly greeted Rizwan Sajan and gave a peck on the cheek to the host, Farah Khan. Farah jokingly said,
> “I know you are all very jealous. Once more, please!”
SRK smiled and kissed her cheeks again, much to everyone’s delight.

He went on to say,
> “Main Eid ka chand jaisa ho gaya hoon. Bahar kam aata hoon. Lekin jab aata hoon, tab kamaal aata hoon!”
This brought applause and cheers from the audience.

Shah Rukh also shared a touching moment,
> “I asked Rizwan bhai if the event would be held in Dubai. He told me, ‘Nahin. Mera desh mere bahut kareeb hai. Hence, I want to launch it in Mumbai.’ He meant it.”

### Features of Shahrukhz By Danube

Following this, Rizwan’s son, Adel Sajan, Managing Director of Danube Group, took over to explain the key features of the tower. He revealed that the building is a 55-storey office tower equipped with a helipad and an upcoming air taxi station.

He added,
> “In 2026, Dubai will be introducing an Air Taxi station, and you could be entering in style at Shah Rukh’s tower!”

Interestingly, the entrance of Shahrukhz By Danube will feature a statue of Shah Rukh Khan in his signature pose. Adel explained the vision behind this,
> “The idea is not just to build an office tower but to create a tourist destination. When my mother comes to Mumbai, the first thing she does is go outside Mannat and take a picture. Similarly, millions of Indians visit Dubai. By creating Shahrukhz By Danube in the heart of Sheikh Zayed Road, we anticipate that people will queue outside to take pictures with the King himself!”

### Shah Rukh Khan’s Response

After the presentation, Shah Rukh Khan was asked for his reaction. The superstar was visibly overwhelmed and expressed,
> “What can I say? Meri maa zinda hoti toh bahut khush hoti! It’s a very big honour. When I take my kids to Dubai, I’ll tell them, ‘Yeh dekh. Papa ki building hai’ – although the building is owned by Rizwan bhai! Lekin naam toh mera likha hoga.” (smiles)

This momentous event highlighted the admiration and respect Shah Rukh Khan commands, not just in India but across the world.
