Heartless trio stabs man, 45, in head during brutal NYC robbery, leaving him critically hurt: cops
A heartless trio stabbed a 45-year-old man in the head during a brutal Brooklyn robbery that left him critically injured last week, police said.
The victim got into an argument with the callous crew around 1 a.m. on October 27th on Van Siclen Avenue near Belmont Avenue in East New York, authorities reported. The attackers knifed the man multiple times in the head and throughout his body before ripping off his jacket, backpack, watch, and cell phone. They then fled the scene.
First responders rushed the severely injured victim to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition, police confirmed.
Video footage released by the NYPD Monday night shows the still-at-large attackers on board an A train. One of the suspects is visibly grinning as he steps into the subway car, while another can be seen wearing a jacket with the words “Only the Strong.”
Authorities are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of these suspects to come forward.
If you have any information, please contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). For Spanish speakers, the number is 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Your tips could help bring these criminals to justice.
