Four-ever? Marcial says second arc will stay ‘for as long as I am commissioner’
As the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) enters its second season featuring a four-point line, commissioner Willie Marcial has confirmed that the arc is here to stay—at least for the foreseeable future.
“I think it will stay forever,” Marcial said. He later clarified his statement, adding, “As long as I’m commissioner, the four-point line will be used.”
The 2024-25 season served as a significant milestone for the league, highlighting its commitment to innovation and evolving the game for players and fans alike.
