FIVB Men’s World: Olympic champion France eliminated by Argentina
MANILA, Philippines—France received a grim reality check at Araneta Coliseum on Thursday night.
Argentina reminded the French that this isn’t the 2024 Paris Olympics. This is the 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship.
The reigning Olympic champions, who struck gold last year, absorbed a stunning exit after a five-set loss to the Argentinians, 28-26, 25-23, 21-25.
