Lee, who shared his personal experience of being shot at age 15 and losing his brother to a gang-related shooting, emphasized the urgent need for the region to do more to prevent similar tragedies from happening again.

He commented on the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the party, suggesting that inviting a rapper known for gangster rap performances, along with convicted gang members, to a two-year-old’s birthday was ill-advised.
