Detained Flotilla Participant Accused of Biting Prison Medical Staff During Examination
A staff member escorting a Spanish national as part of a routine medical examination ahead of her deportation on Monday reported that she was bitten by the detainee.
The incident occurred while the medical worker was conducting the examination in prison. The Spanish national is a participant in the Global Sumud Flotilla, which aims to reach Gaza and break Israel’s naval blockade.
