Dancing With the Stars Shockingly Eliminates This Celeb Before Finale
Despite the show-stopping moves, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas won’t be riding a little red corvette into the Dancing With the Stars finale. Though they pulled off the third-highest score of the evening with 58 points, performing a cha cha to “1999” and a Viennese waltz to “Slow Love,” the two were ultimately voted off in the Prince-themed semi-finals of the ABC show on Nov. 18. “I already feel like a winner,” Whitney said. “This show has meant the absolute world for me. It’s changed my life and I’ll forever be so grateful to have this experience.” Mark added, “I had the best time. I love this show.” It was an emotional night in the ballroom for all the contestants, as Alix Earle broke down in tears over praise and Jordan Chiles cried over her first perfect score of 30. The Olympian told cohost Julianne Hough, “That little girl in me should be very, very proud.” Dylan Efron even got a show of support from brother Zac Efron, who attended his first DWTS taping to cheer on The Traitors star. With just five stars left, the quest to take home the Mirrorball is hotter than ever as Alix, Jordan, Dylan, Robert Irwin and Elaine Hendrix will battle it out for the title of Dancing with the Stars season 34 champion on Nov. 25. As the competition has narrowed in the lead up to the finals, several fan-favorites have waltzed off the dance floor, including Andy Richter and Emma Slater, who became the eighth couple eliminated during the Nov. 11 episode. “It’s changed my life,” Andy admitted after learning of his exit during the franchise’s 20th anniversary-themed show. “I’m a different person because of this show and because of this woman right here. None of this would have happened without her. She knew how to use me.”.
