Cheryl Hines became the closest representation of a conservative viewpoint on *The View* in 2025, despite having shifted from her former Democratic affiliation to a political Independent.
However, her connection to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.—one of former President Donald Trump’s most controversial cabinet members—resulted in numerous tough questions during her appearance. Instead of discussing her new memoir, Hines was forced to defend her husband’s opinions and qualifications over the course of two challenging segments.
