Chevron unveils $18B-$19B capex budget for 2026, at low end of prior guidance
Chevron (CVX) announced after-hours on Wednesday that it plans to allocate capital expenditures in the range of $18 billion to $19 billion for the fiscal year 2026.
Nearly one-third of this investment will be directed toward U.S. shale operations located in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and North Dakota.
This forecast highlights Chevron’s continued commitment to expanding its shale production in key regions across the United States.
