BSP ensures cash supply in Masbate after ‘Ompong’ onslaught
MANILA, Philippines — The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has been actively meeting the cash requirements of banks operating in Masbate following the devastation caused by Severe Tropical Storm Ompong.
In a statement released on Thursday, the central bank emphasized that its Legazpi branch has been coordinating closely with local financial institutions. This collaboration aims to ensure the continuous availability of cash and financial services to support the affected communities during this challenging time.
