BSE Global, Nets unveil finished portion of $100 million Barclays Center renovation
BSE Global, the parent company of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, has unveiled completed portions of a five-year, $100 million renovation project at Barclays Center. Ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season, BSE will introduce new premium and fan spaces designed to enhance the arena experience.
Among the key additions is Gallagher Terrace, a premium membership club that offers the arena’s only in-seat dining with waiter service. This exclusive area features a full-service bar stocked with premium wines and supported by a team of sommeliers, all while providing clear visibility of the game.
Another exciting new space is Modelo Bridge, an upper concourse fan zone featuring the most expansive bar at Barclays Center—spanning 67 feet in length. Unlike Gallagher Terrace, Modelo Bridge is accessible to all guests, providing a lively social environment for fans.
“Barclays Center sits at the heart of one of the most diverse and dynamic markets in the world, and our success depends on delivering an experience that truly reflects and celebrates our community,” said Shanon Ferguson, Chief Hospitality Officer at BSE. “Hospitality has always been a core pillar of our business, and these investments reinforce our commitment to putting guests first. Following a record-breaking year, it’s essential that we continue to evolve and elevate every aspect of the fan experience to ensure Barclays Center remains a premier global destination for sports, entertainment, and culture.”
These renovations form part of a series of initiatives undertaken by BSE Global in recent years. In September, BSE opened a state-of-the-art youth training facility located across from Barclays Center. The 18,600-square-foot multi-court facility will be operated by Brooklyn Basketball, the company’s flagship youth basketball program. It is the first youth basketball venue in the tri-state area to implement Shoot 360 technology—a cutting-edge training software used by all 30 NBA teams and over 100 college programs.
Additionally, the New York Liberty recently announced plans to build an $80 million practice facility in Brooklyn. Fully funded by the team’s ownership group, the 75,000-square-foot facility in Greenpoint will serve as the Liberty’s main training center starting in 2026.
Fans will get their first look at Barclays Center’s new spaces when the Brooklyn Nets face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, marking an exciting chapter for the arena and its community.
