Brad Marchand scores 2 goals, Panthers get their road trip rolling with 5-2 win over LA Kings
Brad Marchand scored two goals, while Sam Reinhart netted the go-ahead goal on his 30th birthday, leading the Florida Panthers to a victory over the Los Angeles Kings.
Anton Lundell added a short-handed goal in the third period, and Sam Bennett also contributed to the scoring for the Panthers. This win marked a strong rebound for Florida after their 7-3 loss in Anaheim, securing their first victory on a challenging four-game West Coast road trip.
For the Kings, Anze Kopitar opened the scoring in his 20th NHL season, and Corey Perry also found the back of the net. However, Los Angeles has now lost three of their last four games.
