ARC Raiders offers a wide variety of guns for you to discover while exploring topside. However, if you want to craft these weapons at a gunsmith, your options might initially be limited. To expand your crafting possibilities, you’ll need to find blueprints. Unlocking blueprints requires both luck and skill, especially if you aim to extract with them successfully. There are plenty of blueprints to collect, so whenever you get your hands on one, be sure to hold on tight!
Where to Find Blueprints
Blueprints spawn randomly in various containers throughout the game, much like other loot in ARC Raiders. Although they can appear in any container, blueprints have a higher chance of spawning in more challenging areas.
Some of the best places to look for blueprints include:
- High-Level Loot Areas
- Red/Green Lockers
- Weapon Cases
- Raider Caches
- The Harvester
- Other Raiders
Taking on the Harvester or other Raiders can be tougher, but these encounters often yield better loot and valuable blueprints. Aside from these, seeking out locations with high-quality loot will increase your chances, though you’ll still need some luck to find exactly what you want.
How to Use Blueprints
To use the blueprints you collect, you must successfully extract with them at the end of your run. Finding blueprints is only half the challenge — making it out alive with them is the other.
If you find a blueprint that interests you, it’s wise to gather a few more loot items and then head back to avoid losing your haul by overstaying in the zone. While this isn’t exactly a beginner tip, managing your extraction timing can save you from losing everything.
Once safely back at Speranza, navigate to your inventory and scroll to the bottom. This section houses all the blueprints you’ve collected so far. Here, you have the option to either learn a blueprint or sell it.
The game conveniently notifies you if you already have a particular blueprint unlocked, preventing unnecessary duplicates. You can collect multiple copies of the same blueprint, but only one unlock is required to access it permanently.
After unlocking a blueprint, you’ll find the corresponding item available at its appropriate crafting station:
- Guns – Gunsmith Station
- Explosives – Explosives Station
- Utility Items – Utility Station
- Medical Items – Medical Station
- Materials – Materials Station
