Supreme Court refuses to extend interim bail of convict Vikas Yadav
The Supreme Court has refused to extend the interim bail of convict Vikas Yadav, who is currently serving a 25-year jail term in the 2002 Nitish Katara murder case.
A bench comprising Justices M M Sundresh and Satish Chandra Sharma heard the plea filed by Yadav. He had challenged the September 9 interim order of the Delhi High Court, which denied him any extension of his interim bail.
With this decision, Vikas Yadav will continue to remain in custody as per the original sentencing.
