Presidents Have a Long History of Using the FCC to Silence Their Critics
President Trump’s latest actions against broadcast media have been widely portrayed in legacy media as unprecedented. While these measures are certainly outrageous, they are by no means the first time a president has used federal agencies to target broadcast opposition.
